Who receives an inquiry
We may share or sell your inquiry to independent tax resolution providers seeking customers for their services. Provider identities may not be known when you submit. Our Partners page explains these relationships. A receiving provider may contact you subject to its own legal obligations; this general request is not blanket permission for automated, prerecorded, or AI-generated calls or marketing texts.
Retention
Retention criteria: retain referral and consent records only as needed to complete the request, document permission, meet applicable legal and contract obligations, and resolve disputes; retain privacy suppression records as necessary to honor preferences. Retention is limited to the relevant purpose and applicable legal obligations.
Your choices
You may browse without requesting a referral and may contact the IRS directly. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information records an opt-out for this browser and offers a request route for information previously submitted. Global Privacy Control disables optional tracking and new referral submissions from this browser. An ordinary form submission does not override an existing opt-out.
